Role summary
As a strategic and highly organised Senior Producer, you need to champion and oversee the end-to-end production of our game projects. This role is pivotal in bridging creative vision, technical development, and business objectives while coordinating teams across our Japan, Europe and New Zealand studios.
The Senior Producer will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while fostering a collaborative, creative, and supportive work environment. You will work closely with Game Director, Art and Design Leads, and Technical teams, balancing the agility of indie development with professional production discipline.
What you’ll do
Working with the Lead Producer, manage the full game production pipeline from concept through launch
Coordinate communication between creative, technical, and business teams across Japan, New Zealand and Europe
Protect the creative vision while ensuring decisions are grounded in technical feasibility, team bandwidth, and commercial goals.
Maintain production pipelines, tools, and processes that support efficient workflow and agile iteration
Oversee task prioritisation, scope management, and iterative development cycles
Support alignment between art, design, engineering, and QA teams to ensure smooth workflows and handoffs
Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clarity of vision, priorities, and progress
Track project performance metrics and provide transparent reporting to senior management and stakeholders

What we’re looking for
Essential
Full professional proficiency in both English and Japanese
5+ years of experience in game production or project management, preferably with shipped titles in indie or mid-size studios.
Proven track record of successfully managing multi-disciplinary teams in cross-regional or remote environments.
Strong understanding of game development processes, from concept through production to release.
Demonstrated experience with project management tools and methodologies (Agile/Scrum, JIRA, Asana, etc.).
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance creative ambition with production realities and deadlines.
Preferred
Experience in coordinating international teams, especially with Japan-based studios.
Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation within game development.
Familiarity with indie-scale production challenges, including small-team dynamics and tight development timelines.
Experience with indie games, post-launch support, or multiplayer development.
Japanese Visa Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or 10 years of experience.
